Alexandra Evans, Co-Founder

Alexandra is recognised as a global thought leader on the impact of technology on children and childhood. She has played a key role in developing age-appropriate design standards and has worked in industry to apply these standards to product design. 

Her perspective has been shaped by her experience working as a content regulator (BBFC), a child online safety advocate (5Rights Foundation) and within a global tech company (TikTok).  Before focusing on childhood + digital, Alexandra was a solicitor (Mishcon de Reya) where she advised on discrimination and human rights, reputation management and education law.

Alison McDowell, Co-Founder

Alison has over 25 years experience developing pragmatic solutions to complex policy and commercial challenges.  She successfully built new ventures in financial services (Barclays) and developed practices at “big four” consulting houses (KPMG & EY)  to support clients with commercial, talent and regulatory changes.  She has worked with blue chip companies, governments and social impact programmes in the US, Europe, southeast Asia, India and Africa.

She is co-founder of Beruku Identity, the lead advisor to the U.K. government on developing a digital identity ecosystem, and speaks frequently as a recognised expert in the adoption of digital technologies.
